Aug 20, 2018 - Have you tried installing te driver sin the windows xp compatibility mode? And rats, I forgot; conexant bt878 video capture you running Windows 7 x64 or normal 32 bit? Windows 10: bt878 video capture in Win 10 x64? Step-by-step instructions, the IT Service Excellence Tool Kit delivers expert advice.

I have read the similar stuff under the same question asked by A-Tim. He has just the same problem that mine. My capture card is AVerMedia EZCapture, but the drivers are working only on 32 bit systems.

But I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and wish to use that card. There was an answer that was chosen as accepted solution by DavisMcCarn on 2010-08-30 at 20:20:58 ID: 33560044: Download the 64 bit BETA driver and unzip it to a folder. In that folder, double click on the PCTV713xi64.inf which will open it in notepad. Three lines down from this [Pinnacle.NTamd64] is the entry%110i.DeviceDesc%=713xi64, PCI VEN_11 31&DEV_713 3&SUBSYS_0 02E11BD; PCTV 110i Change the VEN, DEV, and SUBSYS numbers to match yours (PCI VEN_109E&DEV_036E&SUB SYS_000000 00) and save the file. Then, update the driver, choose have disk, point to the 64_bit folder, and pray a little.

The link to the place for downloading that driver doesn't exist anymore and I can not find anywhere else that driver for Windows x64: Now I have two unknown devices in Device Manager: 1. Multimedia Controller PCI VEN_109E&DEV_0878&SUBS YS_0000000 0&REV_11 2. Multimedia Video Controller PCI VEN_109E&DEV_036E&SUBS YS_0000000 0&REV_11 Please help to find some x64 driver, even fit to XP or Vista, if it doesn't exist for Windows 7 or give me suggestion what to do next. Thanks in advance! The drivers are successfully installed, but I am experiencing the same problem with driver signing for Conexant’s BtPCI Video WDM Video Capture, so the device cannot start with Windows. I tried to use the commands (method 1), that was useless for me: bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON After that I did as described in method 2, i.e.

Pressed enter on “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” upon restarting. After that, I had my drivers working correctly. But to keep the Conexant’s BtPCI Video WDM Video Capture driver working, I need to press ENTER on entry “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” every time I start my PC.

It’s very hard to remember to do that every time, so I would like to know how to make that procedure only once and forget about it. If the solution for my Windows doesn’t exist, then say me please what a soft I can use to sign the driver by the acceptable digital signature of a trusted issuer (Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)?

Has anyone been able to get any bt878 based video capture cards working in Windows 10 x64? I have a Leadtech WinFast TV2000 PCI card. I don't care about the old NTSC TV tuner on it, just want to get the S-Video input working. Why this old card? Because Leadtech told the video industry to go micturate up a rope, it ignores all analog copy protection systems. *Smile Thus it causes no problems when digitizing any tapes from my Panasonic AG-1980 Super VHS VCR.

Rather annoying when capture software falsely claims old home videos are 'copy protected'. What would be most wonderful is if someone could update this open source bt capture driver. It works, supports a huge number of capture cards, as long as you're running 32 bit Windows XP or older. How hard would it be to port it to 64 bit and update for Windows 7/8/10?:). Got a link to the actual driver download, instead of Driver Dr? Click the link or Download button and it goes to another page with a big, green Download button.

All that does is wants to download Driver Dr. I tried Driver Dr. And it wouldn't download anything unless I registered and paid money. DriverMax did find and download and install a driver. I got an entry for Bt878 based video capture, and one for Bt878 based video capture unused audio.

The video capture one gives me the can't start error 10 error. The unused audio one shows no errors. Error 10, Windows doesn't know what's wrong, or if it does know, it's not telling.
