Hi folks, i would like to get some information on these Emulators which are provided in some current releases from r2r (as an example). Saw izotopes Iris 2 on the brother-site today, and this release also includes an Emulator.? Can anybody tell me, what this is, or does? Read about this a while ago, with Breaktweaker. Seems like you need iLok drivers to run it - i have iLoke drivers installed because i do have an iLok (2), with some legit licenses on it.

But what will the Emulator from R2R do to my system? Has anybody tried using one of these 'incl. Emulator'-releases along with a iLok?? Hope thats the right place to post this question?

I don't use that, because i only use plugins that run flawlessly (after testing everything on an old computer) But maybe i should consider installing sandbox or something like this.

@mafana: Good point, i don't know and i have the same issue, my recording/music computer is offline, too. Maybe someone here has tried such an inc. Emulator-release along an iLok, would be great to hear if this is possible!
